Purple and Blue Wedding Theme – By Massachusetts Wedding Photographer Ashley Tilton Photography

The adorable Gia and Derek were married at the St George Greek Orthodox church in Lynn Massachusetts. They had their reception at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem Massachusetts.  There was so much love in the air that day! Their purple and blue wedding theme can be seen in the EVERYTHING from the purple bridesmaid’s dresses, purple and blue flowers, blue shoes, purple ties, blue ties, and even the purple and blue wedding cake with a Game of Thrones Funko Wedding Topper. What an amazing day it was! If you like this Post be sure to leave a comment at the bottom 🙂 We’d love to hear from you!  Xo

Considering a First look?

A first look is a  great way to keep the jitters to a minimum while also enjoying the element of surprise. Lauren and Jarrod chose to do a first look because they wanted to enjoy their cocktail hour and take family formals before the ceremony.  This was a private moment between the two of them but some of their close family members are watching from the balcony far away.  It’s completely up to you wether to allow others to watch or make it a completely private moment.  Firstlook-1

Christina & Wade Sneak Peak – Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard Wedding Photography

I have had the pleasure of photographing some weddings this year that are near and dear to my heart. This wedding was one of them.  I have known Christina and her family since I was 15 and went for my first job at her family’s business, Humpheys Bakery.  I worked there for eight summers. After I went off to college to study photography, I  came back every summer to work and be welcomed with greeting cards telling me how proud they were of me.  This was more than a job, it was a second home and a support system that helped me stay on track and stay grounded.  I watched Christina grow up as we worked together for most of those eight years.  She was the boss’s sweet little daughter. She is still sweet! She’s all grown up, but she is still exactly who I remember her to be….sweet, smart, and down to earth.  When I met Wade for the first time at their engagement session, I was really happy that she found him.  He is sweeter than she is! Didn’t know that was possible:)  So Welcome to the family Wade!  I wish you two the best and I am so happy for you!  xoxoAshley_Tilton_Wedding_Photography_Cape_Cod_Marthas_Vineyard_2014_Simmons_Wedding_003 Ashley_Tilton_Wedding_Photography_Cape_Cod_Marthas_Vineyard_2014_Simmons_Wedding_005
